Our dredging services include the removal of all types of sediments in all sectors of industry. This includes mines, estuaries, dams, lakes and more.
Dredging is the process of removing silt build-up from the bottom of dams/canals/waterways and rivers through the use of a high powered suction pump and hose. This increases the water volume and helps prevent weed growth. This process is especially important for irrigation dams where water volume is a priority.
The dredger is able to pump the silt up to 300m away from the dam or into de-watering bags.
Typical services provided are:
Heavy Duty Dredger.
Can operate in shallow waters
Remote – controlled.
The heavy-duty dredger moves via winches on steel cables stretched across the water.
The sludge can be pumped into our sludge dewatering Geobags for cost-effective dewatering or alternatively into settling dams.
